As a beauty professional of nearly 20 years, Michele Carrillo has always had an eye and passion for the art of makeup and hair styling. As a young girl, she was intrigued by the transformations (natural or dramatic), makeup would make or how simply styling ones’ hair differently could completely alter their appearance. At an early age, she realized that the transformations would not only affect a person’s outer beauty but also their confidence and self esteem.

Before she was even allowed to experiment with her own look, she was in demand doing makeovers on friends for parties, school dances & picture day. After graduating high school, she began working at a large cosmetic company in her hometown of Louisiana, which further fueled her desire to elevate her artistry. Her love for the beauty industry only continued to grow and a week after graduating from college, she made the decision to move to NYC to pursue her passion full time. Through the years, she developed a talent for bringing out the natural beauty in everyone, while also fully embracing her creative side when allotted full creative control on set, whenever a more bold or dramatic look was requested.

With her charm, enthusiasm, determination, professionalism and attention to detail, Michele has had her work featured on television, magazines, photo/video shoots, campaigns, the red carpet, as well as on numerous celebrities. She’s been able to work her magic on the runway for well over a decade, whether it was as Key MUA or Lead Hair Stylist; where she has lead teams of talented artists and worked directly with designers and producers to create highly successful shows. Combining travel (one of her favorite past times) with her passion of beauty and hair, has been most fulfilling in her career, allowing her the opportunity to explore this beautiful world and gain inspiration, while simultaneously beautifying it.

For almost two decades, Michele has consistently worked with some of the most renowned brands, clients and industry leaders. She continues to expand her education and experience as a professional in an ever changing industry and believes that with hard work, dedication and a positive mindset, success is imminent. She aspires to challenge, inspire and grow in this industry for another 20+ years!
